Tongue Guide Infant Home (for use by parents)
OverviewThe Tongue Guide Infant Home has been specially developed for home use. With the instrument, parents can learn to lift the tongue prior to surgical correction of the tongue tie in their child. After the surgical procedure, they can use the instrument to ensure that the area under the tongue is stretched, so that the wound under the tongue heals well and an optimal result is achieved without relapse.
The Tonge Guide Infant Home is an alternative to the liper device, with the advantage that the finger does not come close to the mouth. Therefore there is a better view of the movements.
The Tongue Guide Infant Home can be ordered per piece (usually by parents themselves) or per 5 pieces (usually by professionals who then provide the instrument to parents). A set of 25 pieces can be ordered for € 30.00 (thus with a benefit of € 3,75.
Unlike the two Tongue Guide instruments for professional use (the ‘Infant Pro’ and ‘Standard Pro’), the Tongue Guide Infant Home is designed and intended for single patient use.
